Bishop Thomas A. Masters has faithfully served as the pastor of New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Riviera Beach, Florida, since 1987. With a heart for ministry and a passion for serving others, Bishop Masters is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and leading the church in its mission to uplift the community and glorify God.
Meet Our Pastor
A Life Devoted to Ministry
Answering his call to ministry at a young age, Bishop Masters began preaching at just four years old and was ordained by the age of twelve. His lifelong commitment to God’s work is reflected in his powerful sermons, compassionate leadership, and dedication to building a church where faith and community come together.
Spreading The Word Internationally
Bishop Thomas A. Masters has preached and ministered across the globe, sharing the gospel in nations including Canada, Jamaica, Haiti, Belize, Ghana, the Dominican Republic, England, Italy, Guyana, Switzerland, South Africa, Senegal, China, and even at the United Nations. With a heart for expanding his ministry, Bishop Masters looks forward to reaching even more countries, including Trinidad and Panama. In the last 10 years, he has preached in 45 countries, recently sharing the word in the Philippines, Bahamas, and Honduras as part of his international outreach ministry.
A Community Leader
Presently, Bishop Masters serves as the International Ambassador for the Worlds Conference of Mayors. In addition to his pastoral role, Bishop Masters has a legacy of community service, having served as the Mayor of Riviera Beach for 12 years. His leadership has been marked by initiatives that uplift families, support veterans, and create opportunities for all. His passion for service extends beyond the church, ensuring that the needs of the community are met with faith and action.

Under Bishop Masters’ leadership, New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church has become a vibrant spiritual home, offering outreach ministries, live-streamed services, and programs designed to meet both spiritual and practical needs. His vision is to create a church that reflects the love of Christ and empowers individuals to live out their faith.
